Fixs by Work

I love seeing wheels like these. A simple design but with an additional flare to set it apart from every other wheel. A gold mesh face with a star pattern painted black to give it a design within a design. Not very common for Work to make these two piece wheels, and maybe the barrels weren't actually made by them since their sizing stamps are a bit different to what they usually throw onto the wheel (normally stickers rather than laser etching on the barrel) but behind the mounting pad and also on the centre caps they are confirmed to be made by Work. If I am reading correctly the manufacture date seems to be 4-82, April 1982.

They look to be in new condition, but in a size of 14x6 +18 and a starting price at 80,000yen I'm not sure if they're worth picking up. It's safe to say these wheels are VERY rare since I have never seen a set of these new or used up until now, so whoever does get them will be a very lucky person.

Odd wheel by Sparco

I found this set for sale about a year ago on Yahoo! Auctions in Japan and I honestly think this is the weirdest wheel ever manufactured. At first glance it looks like a normal 6-spoke wheel, then you notice the gap between each spoke is filled with a polished face. Cool! Maybe a behind-the-spoke aero cover?

But nope, looks to be all one piece, just a very unique design on Sparco's part.

I'm not sure what the text reads on the polished area but I'm sure it doesn't make much sense, just like the design of the wheel.

I've seen an identical wheel called the S-6 (not sure of manufacturer) but without the odd polished background, just the plain 6 spokes. A much cleaner look, but no where near as cool as this special wheel.
